Our relationship therapist provided us with no judgement space to talk, disagree and yell about our most difficult issues. We shared our deepest darkest stories with her. The therapist at Heart It Out has been the best so far in terms of giving actionable ways to work on communication. She is kind and confident even though she’s young. I recommended her to my sister-in-law.
This is the third family therapist we have visited and the first one who matches our vibes. We were sceptical considering we have an open relationship and wanted a therapist who understands modern relationships. We openly talked about our conflicts, without any fear of judgement. She breaks down our conflicts in a way we can both understand and relate to.
Our friends recommended a family therapist from Heart It Out for my aged parents. Sessions with her have helped my parents solve long-standing family fights and become more tolerant toward each other. Our interactions with them have vastly improved too because of the practical exercises she suggested. It has been such an eye-opening experience for us as children.
As a family, despite our love for each other, it was getting tougher to stay together because of the frequent conflicts. Visiting our love therapist helped us view the conflicts from each other’s perspectives, which was a huge help in reducing the occurrence of it. We applied the techniques suggested by our therapist and understood to work together to make our relationship better.
My therapist at Heart It Out has helped me tremendously in my marriage. I desperately needed self-care and no one had told me that before! She spoke to my wife and helped her be more empathetic to my job and the stress that comes from travelling. She made me realise how to set boundaries and express anger better. I feel ready to be a father now after so many years of doubts about myself.
I was clueless on how to approach my partner with our relationship issues. After attending a session with my therapist, I understood how to include him in the process without offending or alienating him. Thanks to these strategies, I persuaded him to come to the sessions, and now we are working on our issues together. We have also started the divorce process amicably.
We are closest to our family but often hesitate to be vulnerable and open with them. If you have questions about family therapy, we’ve answered some of them here.
