Heart It Out is a mental health organization dedicated to providing accessible and compassionate care for all. We create content, resources, and experiences that make conversations around mental health more approachable, relatable, and accessible.

We’re looking for a Content Creator who can bring our brand to life through engaging, culturally relevant, short-form video content. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and can turn an idea into a polished Reel or Short.
1+ year of experience creating and editing short-form video content for a brand, agency, creator, or personal channel.
A strong portfolio of edited videos is mandatory (Instagram, YouTube, Drive, or portfolio links).
Proficiency in at least one professional video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Comfortable using CapCut for quick edits and fast-turnaround social content.
Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera.
Able to independently handle basic shooting requirements including framing, lighting, and recording clean audio.
Street smart, confident, and outgoing, with the ability to comfortably approach strangers and create natural interactions on camera.
Strong understanding of short-form content, viral hooks, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.
Working knowledge of Canva and basic motion graphics.
Strong communication and storytelling skills with ability to turn ideas into polished Reels or Shorts.
Basic understanding of mental health and the sensitivity required when creating content around therapy and personal experiences.
Highly proactive, curious, and willing to continuously experiment with new formats.
Able to work 5 days a week from our Bangalore office (Koramangala).
Available to work full-time.
Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
Create content that is informative, relatable, entertaining, and sensitive to the nuances of mental health.
Take ownership of the content process from idea → scripting → shooting → editing → publishing.
Shoot high-quality video content, including framing, lighting, clean audio, and basic camera setup.
Be comfortable appearing on camera and confidently communicating ideas, questions, and concepts.
Conduct street interviews, vox pops, social experiments, and on-ground content, including approaching and interacting with strangers.
Continuously experiment with new content formats and identify what resonates with our audience.
Stay updated on social media trends, formats, sounds, hooks, memes, and emerging content styles and adapt them appropriately for the brand.
Edit fast-paced, visually engaging videos with strong hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, and storytelling.
Create basic graphics and supporting content using Canva and other design tools.
Collaborate with the marketing, psychology, and other internal teams to develop content ideas.
