Heart It Out is a mental health organization dedicated to making mental healthcare accessible, personalized, and stigma-free. We provide therapy, workshops, and self-care resources to support individuals on their mental well-being journey.
We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Intern to help us create meaningful and user-friendly digital experiences. As an intern, you will work remotely/online with our product and design team to enhance our platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, inclusive, and aligned with mental health needs.
The First Responder Head will be responsible for managing the individuals who work on Heart it Out’s external chat and call lines. The First Responder Head will also be responsible for maintaining communication channels between the different departments of Heart It Out.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
Basic understanding of UX principles, user research, and design thinking.
Good understanding of typography, color theory, and aesthetic design principles.
Passion for mental health and human-centered design.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating user-friendly, inclusive designs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
Basic understanding of UX principles, user research, and design thinking.
Good understanding of typography, color theory, and aesthetic design principles.
Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile and web platforms.
Assist in conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions.
Apply typography and color theory to create visually appealing, accessible designs.
Design user-friendly interactions and intuitive user journeys.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design implementation.
Maintain visual consistency and a strong aesthetic design sense across all platforms.
