Heart It Out Academy is hiring a Communications & Outreach Intern to support applicant engagement for
our psychology and mental health programs.
This role involves interacting with prospective learners outside the organization, guiding them through
our courses and workshops, addressing their queries, and ensuring a smooth journey from inquiry to
enrollment. If you enjoy speaking with people, building connections, and being part of a purpose-driven

The role of Counselling Psychologist would require you to meet with our clients and work with them
to
sort
out any emotional or motivational issue that may arise. This role would also require you to work
with
the
clients to identify problems, if any, in emotional, mental and behavioural areas and follow with
therapy
and adequate support.
Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field
Strong interest in mental health and educational programs
Comfortable speaking with diverse individuals over calls
Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence in handling high-volume calling
Consistent follow-up and persuasion ability
Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Empathetic, professional, and responsive approach
Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently
Handle inbound queries via calls, email, and messaging platforms
Make outbound calls to: Remind applicants about shortlisting/orientation, Follow up on
applications/pending registrations
Explain course and workshop details clearly
Engage consistently with applicants to ensure participation across all stages
Support applicants through the complete journey until successful enrollment
Maintain accurate records of all interactions using Google Sheets
Track follow-ups and update applicant progress regularly
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication
Internship Duration: 6 months, 2 Open Positions
Working Days: 3-4 days a week. Hours: 4-6 hours/day (2-8 PM or 12-6 PM)
Nature of Role: Communication-intensive (calls, follow-ups, coordination)
