Jyoti is a therapist at Heart It Out. With an integrated and eclectic approach, she collaborates with young and middle-aged adults to navigate through issues concerning gender, sex and sexuality; trauma and abuse; body image, relationships and family, as well as, mood disorders.

Jyoti graduated from Christ University, Bangalore where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology. Being blessed with determination and a genius mind, she pursued her master’s in Clinical
Psychology from the same university. She works with adolescents, young adults and middle-aged adults.
Her work follows an eclectic approach, and focuses on aspects of self-compassion, self-discovery and
staying in the present. She also practices trauma-informed and queer affirmative therapy.
Besides being a therapist, Jyoti is a fight sports enthusiast and practitioner. She revels in home decor. She has a fierce character and resilient personality. Jyoti harbours a passion for even the smallest things that bring meaning and purpose to life. Her affinity to justice and her insightful mind never cease to amaze others. She also spends her time befriending animals and taking pride in her cooking skills (which are very good, we can vouch for that).
