Learning how to write affirmations

"Positivity starts with you, and positivity starts in YOU!"
We are pretty sure that every one of us has come across inspiring quotes on positivity. But, how does it actually feel to be positive in life?
Well, in order to keep positivity alive in us, there is definitely a need for affirmations in our lives. Affirmations act like the invisible allies in our lives, which are positive statements helping us overcome and challenge our negative thoughts. Also, one of the most fascinating things about affirmations is that repeating and believing them can result in positive outcomes. Great, isn't it?
Why would one miss a chance of improving their lives positively?
So, to get deep into the topic of self-affirmation, its importance, and ways to learn writing affirmations, join Sahana and Pranjali on the 24th of September at 6 p.m. in "Learning to write affirmations" under this week's Brainsnacks event!

Going through a mental health challenge can make you feel isolated and afraid, among many other things. I remember feeling this way when I was in a difficult place, and that's when I signed up for a buddy circle at HiO. Although I was scared at first, that changed to relief and a sense of hope. The buddy circle reminded me that I'm not completely alone in my journey; help and company is always an arm's reach away :')

Buddy Circle serves exactly what it promises! I remember being a little nervous about my first session, but as you see people open up one by one and you relate with other's struggles, it feels like you're a part of a community, and you can really understand each other. What I liked about the buddy circle was that it always provides us with a learning strategy, something to take back and implement in your everyday life.
