Partners and Collaborations

“Haqdarshak”
Uncertainity is exactly like that one toxic relative in every Indian household and this lockdown seems to have invited it to stay for an unimaginable span of time. This caused immense anxiety and stress even for the ones who work for social welfare like the employees of Hakdarshak who mostly work on ground to make welfare schemes accessible to the citizens. HiO provided them with peer support group sessions which focused on anxiety and stress management by coming up with self-care routines that involved taking care of both physical and mental health.
“Alipore post- offline”
A new, creative way to de-stress onself is in town and is winning everyone’s heart. And what happens when a bunch of talented artists come together for showcasing their talent? You club both the ideas! HiO joined hands with Alipore Post- a visual journal based on Instagram- for a workshop on Zentangle and Origami to promote self-esteem and confidence in one’s own creativity skills.
“Project Eve”
Sadly but not suprisingly, research proves that women have low self-esteem with high stress and poor sleep cycles because the world strongly believes in equality (sarcasm mode: on). Therefore, HiO, in association with Project Eve, had crafted a workshop for strong, independent and sophisticated women in the age-group of 25-40 on zentangle and helped them be more mindful and relaxed and most importantly, de-stress themselves.
“Rotaract Club- South west Bangalore”
Caregivers' Stress is a topic very less acknowledged and hence, caregivers in HiO came to the rescue of the young lot of adults who are in a way caregivers too as they keep working tirelessly for the welfare of the under priviliged section of the society. The mental health professionals arranged a brief relief support and peer support group sessions to help them deal with emotional distress and manage the feelings effectively.
“Ashoka- Young changemakers programme”
Young people are the only ones who are atleast trying to bring about a change in the society. However, there are concerns that often affect the young mind. And they must be protected at all cost! Hence, HiO has collaborated with such an organisation- Ashoka young changemakers programme- that selects young people below the age of 20 to drive change in the society. Our expert mental health professionals provide mental health support to these youngstars (pun intended) through individual therapy, workshops, peer support groups and brainsnacks (a cool term for psych education). These support helps the attendees work more efficiently and grow into a beautiful human without getting affected by the negativities around.
“Design impact awards”
At the TATA Design impact awards in 2018, HiO gifted products named "Jar of Ideas" to promote products that do not require much resources but at the same time are functional in promoting mental health. This Pandora's box had certain thought provoking questions about oneself and promoted mental health awareness
“Phoenix one”
Nothing is more important that a family and if one is lucky enough to be blessed with an healthy family, then nothing like it. On the same lines, HiO had organised a family workshop, for Phoenix One, to help strengthening the bonds within family members. In order to bring them together as an unit, they were taught to make origamis but subliminally, it also promoted healthy social interaction which is a very important aspect of personal/ individual growth. Two birds with an arrow!
“Sales Force"
The world is already so upset for having to sit behind the laptop screen and do their work online but for one sector, it has been going on for ages- the software field. Yes. Just imagine their plight. To make things easier for them, Heart it Out had arranged for a workshop on zentangle- a new and cool way of destressing one self- for Salesforce. Essentially, it focused on mindfulness and helped them to relax, destress and connect to the present.

“Fidelity investments”
What is the defintion of a perfect day? A day off with family working on zentangles and origamis! Atleast that's what the employees of Fidelity Investment, a financial service company based in Boston, would exclaim. Working in the financial field comes with several cons and one of them is not being able to give their family enough time. So on one family day, HiO conducted a zetangles and origami workshop to destress their mind, help them connect to the present and above all, enable them to spend some time with their loved ones. This promotes healthy competition among individuals with a boost in one's self-confidence through creativity, helping in personal and professional growth.
