Help A Friend Be Kinder To Their Body

Let them know they are not what they eat.
“A friend can tell you things you don’t want to tell yourself”
– Frances Ward Weller
They say anything is possible, when you have the right kind of support. Friendship day is just another day for you to honour the support you can give your friend. If your friend has been finding it difficult to cope with usage/consumption of alcohol, nicotine or other substances at frequent intervals and continues to do so despite showing visible physical symptoms, they may be battling substance addiction.Such behaviours are usually followed by increasing their dosage to high and unsafe amounts, lung/liver infections and engaging in risky activities to obtain the substance. This Friendship day, gift a session to your friend, to remind them that you will stand by them as they learn to fly again.
We here at Heart It Out have professionals who know how to provide help according to your friend’s needs. We will help them identify the causes and triggers in their surroundings and motivate them to stay sober. Relapse is a part of recovery and we are here when they fall and learn to get back up again.
